Phoenix Camelback Rotary Club made a recent donation of $2500 to Hope Women's Center.  The donation will be used to create curriculum and support materials for their pregnancy and prenatal classes, labor and delivery classes, and parenting classes for their 5 Arizona locations.  Hope Women's Center engages, encourages, and equips women and teen girls by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support.
7 Rotarians, 6 family members, and 10 members of the Arcadia High School Interact Club helped pack 960 emergency food boxes.  Nothing like an afternoon of hard work for a worthy cause to make you feel good.
Rotary was founded on the principles of Service.  Service above Self is our motto.  We focus on Community, International, Vocational, Club and Youth.  Our Club participates with local charities such as Gift of Life, St. Vincent de Paul, and the Arizona Burn Foundation.  We provide back packs and school supplies to those in a Phoenix neighborhood with need.  Internationally we are helping fund a clean water project in the Dominican Republic.  We have donated to Rotary's fight to wipe out polio.  The Club has also sponsored both Inbound and Outbound high school exchange students.  Our Club has great chemistry, come join us and give back to the greater good.
